The design and development of all electronic safety systems are done at the electronic workshop. These systems include:
• Start Lock
This unit is specially designed to protect the starting system, batteries and charging system
• PWM Lamp Controlling Systems
This is a specially designed controller which works together with PWM sensors to allow a second load for example a siren or LED lamp
• Turbo Protectors
Turbo Protectors are used to bring the RPM’s of the turbo from 20 000 revs down to approximately 2 000 revs. This is done to prevent damage to compressor shafts
• Fuel Shutdown Timer
This unit switches the fuel-solenoid off after a given time on diesel engines
• 3 – Way Engine Sentinel Protection System
This unit monitors the engine
Three things are constantly observed and checked:
Engine Oil Pressure
Engine Coolant Temperature
Engine Coolant Level
• Battery Monitoring System
This unit ensures minimal down time arising from drained batteries in the field
